The bang came out with the Epic rock "the wall " in 1979.the idea was conceived by Roger Waters and it gave Pink Floyd renewed acclaim and their first chart topping single, "Another Brinck in the Wall-II". the song spent 15 weeks as number one in the US in 1980.
due to this and above it was banned in south africa. the reasons were aparthied mainly.
